About the event
Hometown is a highly localized gathering featuring leaders from around the community of Richfield. Come network and hear from three local keynote speakers as they consider what it means to live, work, and lead with a community-first perspective.
The evening will kick off at 6:00 PM with a welcome from the City of Richfield's Recreation Director, Amy Markle. The night will feature three keynote speakers, all of whom are Richfield residents, including: Bukata Hayes (VP of Racial & Health Equity at Blue Cross Blue Shield), Simon Trautmann (Richfield City Coucil Member & Principle Owner at Trautmann Martin Law, PLLC), and Emilia González Avalos (Executive Director of UnidosMN/NavigateMN). Following the event, beginning at 8:30 PM, a hosted happy hour (pizza +1 drink ticket/person) will be held at Richfield Pizza Lucé.
Whether you own a local business or operate a small restaurant, are a director at a local enterprise, work for the City of Richfield or a Richfield public, private, or charter school, serve on a local commission or board, are a leader within a local faith community, run a local nonprofit, or act as your neighborhood block captain - if you are invested in Richfield, or want to learn how to become more invested, then we hope you will join us for this special event.
